Sensing and privacy
Détection radar
Radar detection is a sensing method using radio-wave reflections to estimate properties such as movement, distance, or presence. Different radar designs support different functions, so a curb deployment must establish whether it can detect stationary vehicles and distinguish adjacent movements rather than assume all radar devices measure occupancy equally.
Parking and pricing
Autorisation de stationnement résidentiel
Residential parking permit is an authorization that gives eligible residents specified parking privileges within a defined area. It can manage access where demand is high, but eligibility, price, time exemptions, visitor arrangements, and whether a space is guaranteed depend on the local scheme and should be stated explicitly.
Urban logistics
Logistique inverse
Reverse logistics is the movement and handling of goods returning from users or destinations toward collection, reuse, repair, recycling, or disposal systems. At the curb, return flows create collection needs that can differ from outbound delivery, especially when material volume, handling requirements, and timing are uncertain.
