CDS Events API

API Events de CDS

CDS Events API is the part of the Curb Data Specification used to exchange observations about activity associated with curb locations. Events can originate from different operational systems, so their interpretation requires documented event types, timing, location references, and the limits of what the originating observation can establish.

Understanding the term

A recorded arrival is not necessarily proof of legal loading. Keep observational facts separate from eligibility decisions and avoid inferring personal trip purposes from an event timestamp.

An implementation should document its version, identifiers, time conventions, geographic accuracy, and supported fields. Test representative exchanges between the actual participating systems, including exceptions and updates. Assign responsibility for correcting discrepancies between published information, legal records, and the street. Collect only information needed for a defined purpose and apply suitable access and retention controls. A successful technical exchange does not by itself prove that the data is current, legally authoritative, or suitable for enforcement.
